We do that in work or work-related environments. Otherwise we simply do not bother. Even our role playing friends who don't know we're multiple, we do not pretend around them. I spoke to one today and she reacted the same way she would if Chris had been speaking. Then again, we play a character who is multiple, so it's possible they suspect something, but if so none of them has ever said anything.
