something cool and funny, and something else..

So I was hanging out with some friends, who I've recently come out as multiple to...and we were playing truth or dare...one of them was dared to do something, it doesn't matter what, and she said to us, "Everyone crowd around the windows now, I wanna make sure everyone sees this."

I was rolling on the floor laughing...I think that's the single most awesome response to being multiple I've ever heard from anyone...

anyway, onto the "something else"

So last night a friend of ours in another system IM'd us and said she was bored, and could she come over to our system and hang out...we've been interested in inter-system travel for awhile...we told her sure, not a problem, and I was skeptical about whether anything would happen at all...then all of a sudden I felt strange...

You know the feeling you get after thanksgiving dinner or something, when you're so full, you feel like you don't really fit in your skin? Well, it was sort of like that, except a little more...etheral...i guess would be the word for it...I felt like we were so full there wasn't anymore room in our brain or something...even though we don't feel like we're in one "head". I'm not sure how to describe it...anyway, has anyone who travels ever felt like this? what do y'all feel when someone visits you? what do y'all feel when you visit someone else?

after awhile, I came out front, and the feeling eventually went away...I'm thinking she left, and the girls(Tara and Faith, who she was hanging out with)went to bed...well, no, Faith's around, she's wanting to post on lj, but still...

so yeah, anyway...

Sounds neat..

when someone visits us, we're not always aware of it.. only an impression of someone else with an outside energy being among us.. if they arrived in our realm at the Mansion, then they'd be noticed right away.. all the security we have in place would detect them.. and in most other places as well.. our realm is very security-orientated since we've had various attacks from outsiders...

yeah, in the beginning, it was sort of like I could see her out of the corner of my eye inside, but then it kinda became like a presence...like that full feeling Rick described.

For us, it's more of a warm feeling. But then we have some different kinds of visitors too. (crazy as that sounds).

But we've system jumped before, and have had people jump here. One day soon, we're going to have to arrange to have someone help us talk to the ones we don't know yet. (we just found out all of us were here earlier this year, for sure..)

Seriously, our community space is set up so that's the literal thing we have to do to pay attention to the outside world, if we want to stay there. It's a coffeehouse with big windows on one side.

We totally want more people who are that cool with Us.

And that whole inter-system travel thing is weird. I mean, a LOT of us believe in that sort of thing, but to actually have it happen? Huh. I wonder if I could travel around. That would be fucking awesome. >)

And apparently it's easy...it's about knowing your own system's world, and the one you're going to visit..we're learning more about our world...

Earlier this week I was over at a friend's house, a bunch of us discussing which movie to watch, and she said "Okay, who wants to watch Jeremiah Johnson?"... I piped up "Me me me!", and she said "Okay, that's three votes in favor." LOL, so, for the sake of honesty, I had to explain that it was really only one vote in favor and two abstentions - Crist-Erui doesn't watch movies, and Kír didn't care which one we watched.

for us it feels different depending on who is out and who is coming into the system i think. We do traveling back and forth on a pretty regular basis with one other system. We also have some security measures in place as kasia said bcuz we have had problems with people from differnt systems coming in bfore(uninvited). Sometimes we will get an influx of people from the other system who travels to here and when a bunch of people come in at the same time yes we sometimes get that "too full" feeling. Then it gets better after a few minutes but if they stay a long period of time(days/weeks) we will eventually have that feeling again and figure it usually means its time for them to go home. *shrugs* i dont think they get the same feelings when we travel there though so i dont know why it happens like that for us.
