Hi. New here. I've thought for a while now that I have multiple personalities, but unlike the MPD that psychiatrists recognise, I remember what each personality does. However, they all differ very much. We live in a female body, and there are maybe three most prominant personalities and other minor ones. At least one is male, and when he's fronting he finds it very difficult being in a female body.

Am I off my rocker?

Hi there! :) If you go back and read the Info Page (http://www.livejournal.com/userinfo.bml?user=multiplicity), especially the parts that say Unorthodox Multiplicity and Questions?, you'll find that quite a few of your questions have already been answered.

Welcome.

My name is Robert, and I live in a female body. There are several males in our system of varying ages from children to adults. We're vastly outnumbered by the girls, but we're here nonetheless.

Chipping in my 2c to what others have said-- there's nothing crazy about anything you've described, but you can get to feel crazy when there's no cultural or social permission for what you're doing and it doesn't fit any of the standard defined models either.

There's some links off the main info page which might help you feel less alone.

Yes. You're typing is far to clear to be done from a rocking chair, in my experience. Unless of course, the keyboard is on your lap. So I suppose I would need more information to discern that.

Seriously, I wouldn't immediately find reason to consider the above to mean you're "off your rocker". Some might, but that's their problem, not mine, unless they make it mine, in which case I'll do my damnedest to return the favor.

and you can feel free to get ahold of us through our journals or aim addresses, which you'll find on rick's userinfo(this is his screen name, but we all cross post from each other's journals..)

One of my composite parts was like the male person you touch on in your post - except in our case, the body is biologically male, but transitioning to female. Suffice it to say until his last month or two, it was a frustrating experience.

Anyway, welcome.

No.. not off your rocker... We have a similar setup... I am male.. and contain within me a female personality who seems to object at times to being in a male body... We co-frontrun and sometimes she tries to force things. Othertimes... she certinaly doesnt object to being able to view a male body... :P To be honest.. if I was in a girls body.. oh the things I would do ;)

Ah, to make things even crazier than multiples, you get a nice bout of gender dysphoria as well.

As for having "other species" in there as well... oh boy. Furries, anyone?

I have a crush on furries in general.
