Our communication used to be really good, to the point where one of us could just call out another's name and we'd speak with them- also many people fronting at one time.
However...
Communication has been getting WORSE.  Loosing time is becoming the norm again (which, honestly, scares the hell out of me).  I think it may be caused by stress in our life lately...
Has anyone else had this problem?

recently, we've had the opposite happen where we were hearing too well, meaning that thoughts and conversations were all bleeding into each other..

about 2 years ago we did have some problems with not being able to hear that well.. but we were still working out bugs in our communication back then..

in honesty, I don't know why some groups can hear well and others have difficulty.. it could be stress, like you said.. I think medications can interfere with it too.. -Kas

Are you taking any medication?

Possibly. Drugs can do odd things to systems.

We started taking an over-the-counter allergy medication last spring and it screwed all kinds of things up. We couldn't talk to each other. The people inside were stuck there with no access to what was going on outside. Once we stopped taking it it took weeks for everyone to be able to use the body normally.

Stress can affect it. It's different for everyone, and even changes for the individual. Could have bleedover as Kas said, or could make it difficult to hear others. We've had both, caused by stress. Also, as Pengke said, meds can affect it, so that's another thing to keep an eye out for.

Yes, actually, and we just made a post in our journal about it last night. During a period of intense stress it seemed to mess us up a lot to a point where we began to 'lose time' (whereas that had never really been a *problem* before).
It's gotten better again, though - the specific event we wrote about was a few months ago.

Stress will fubar things for us sometimes. Lack of sleep, illness, injury (some of us stay far from the front when the body's feeling pain.) Caffiene will chase away several people. We had a time where almost everyone "fled" that turned out to be them responding to a specific event that frightened/upset them. They weren't talking so it took those who stayed around several days to understand what happened and talk them thru it.

Yup. In times of stress, our communication sometimes gets spotty..
