Welcome! I'm not sure what's supposed to be frightening about you guys, you sound quite reasonable. What really intrigued us was the fact that you were out multiple at school, and that your teachers work with you as a multiple. That isn't unheard of, but it's certainly unusual. How do they regard your multiplicity?

Andy says it is probably because you attend a private school.

I'm interested in the fact that you say your therapist reads your personal livejournal. Will she also be reading in this community, since you participate in it? If so, I'm looking forward to her introducing herself so that we may all have the pleasure of meeting her.

My teachers are good, expecially about us. It took mom a long time to find a school, but since it's a private school, there's not as many kids so they can deal with me easy. All the other kids in my grade know about my gift of having the system, and they're really cool about it. Sometimes it scares new kids or teachers, but my friends just laugh coz they know some of the others in the system! Claire thinks I should make a journal entry about my school, since our new friends are so curious. I think it's a cool idea, and I'm gonna do that when I'm done writing back!

Our doctor will not be reading or participating in this community, coz she says that we should have a place to interact with other systems on our own. She also thinks that this should be something that is just us. We want to share our journal with her, and we show her when she comes to our house. We thought this might make other people and system scared of us, coz Dr. Sanders reads our journal. But we gave her rules too! ^_^

Yeah. She's know us for a long time, and we live in a small community. Coz of school, alot of time I wouldn't get to see her. So she comes to my house.

Hi and welcome. :) I'm really curious about being out about being multiple at your school too. A lot of Us sometimes wish that We could be that out about it, especially at school. And your therapist sounds amazing - I wish Our therapist was that good. Your profile is very well written too, makes me want to update Our infos and stuff heh.

My school is really small, so it's been sorta easy to be out about being a system. They had a small class one day about me and my system to help the other kids and teachers understand. It wasn't as scary as I thought it would be, and most kids thought it was really neat! I'm making an entry about my school, so that should help answer questions. But if you have anymore, I love writing to people so don't be afraid to ask!

I like my doctor alot. She's so nice, and she even went to my school to help! She's worked with alot of multiples so she's really good and she lets me eat candy when it's my turn to talk to her. Maybe someday we can tell her to talk to your doctor! ^_^

Your doctor's attitude and willingness to work with your school, and with you as a system, is particularly intriguing in light of the fact that multiplicity has come to be regarded by modern psychiatry either as an iatrogenically-created delusion or as a thought disorder to be treated with neuroleptic medication.

You say she's worked with a lot of multiples. She sounds unusually enlightened. What is her degree?

Degree? I'll hafta ask, coz I dunno. I just know she's really good. She started as just a therapist, yanno. The ones that don't prescribe meds? But she's a full psychiatrist now, so she could give me meds. But anyway, I'll ask her about the degrees.
