Multiplicity

Ten years of work with clinical psychologists, not as a client but as a transcriber, secretary and assistant. I have seen the inside, and a close friend in the profession -- one of the real ones trying to hold to his truth in the midst of it all -- has told me about the deep inside. They are basically making it up as they go along, and for many of them it is much more about acadaemia and their personal prestige than about helping the clients.
