I know who peace_joy_love is!!!!
Sep. 23rd, 2004 06:48 pmI went to his "counseling" website to see what he was all about. By golly, I've challenged him before on his lack of understanding about Christianity!
He used to go as wolfendom on LJ. His journal got shut down, for what reason I don't know. If you don't understand his journal entries, join the club. The was a common response he got as wolfendom. His wolfendom account advertised that he was looking for nubile, young submissive women who he could mentor in the ways of bdsm.
He has very little understanding of what Christianity is and even less understanding of what a "dom" is. He likely posted here to drum up business for his counseling venture. I would stay far, FAR, away from him.

Date: 2004-09-24 12:35 am (UTC)I challenged him several times on his supposed Christian views, which were anything but biblical. He uses big words and thinks it makes him sound intelligent. But if you look for the meaning in the words, there is none.
I challenged him that if he is looking for a relationship, and he is a Christian, he should be looking for a woman of integrity - one woman, and his first concern should be that she was a Christian. That's what the Bible says we are to do. His response was incomprehensible and he ended it by inviting me to write him so he could teach me about the Bible and what Christianity is. Mind you, I've been a Christian for 39-ish years!
I have no problem with BDSM. It was his application of his interests and his professing to be a Christian and not living a Christian life that really bugged me!
I'm glad to see he's gone. I reported him as soon as I discovered who he was but didn't say anything because I didn't want to alert him and have him go down fighting. :)
I'm glad it all worked out. He won't be back here. At least not for long if he tries, too many now know who he is. :)

Date: 2004-09-24 08:48 pm (UTC)Yes, I noticed your name, as well. At first I thought it was someone trying to copy us (all apologies, of course, but we also have a journal at
I think I also read somewhere on your journal that one of the sister's names was Butterfly? Because we have a Butterfly, too (she is 7 or 8, depending on how she feels). Her given name is Jillian, but everyone calls her Butterfly just the same.
It's neat how we are alike in some ways. Nice to meet you. :)

Do you mean...
Date: 2004-09-24 07:27 am (UTC)I know many rape survivors who are into BDSM in one way or another.
(What's wrong with having a fetish, anyway?)
Re: Do you mean...
Date: 2004-09-24 07:55 am (UTC)Nothing's wrong with a fetish in general though! I have a few myself ;)
Re: Do you mean...
Date: 2004-09-25 04:28 am (UTC)However, I agree that he seems screwed up as all get out.
Sorry if I sounded grouchy... I have had to leave many a list over people not respecting other people's fetishes, and I was hoping this one wouldn't end up that way. :)

Depending on your school of thought
Date: 2004-09-25 10:26 pm (UTC)So would a desire to impress your worldview on the client.
It definately constitutes a conflict of interests. It's commendable that you actually draw that line for yourself. I don't know how many people do.

Date: 2004-09-24 12:52 am (UTC)I did a little investigating and figured his interest in kasiawhisper and her "multiples" might have possibly had something to do with this:
http://www.livejournal.com/userinfo.bml?user=sister_marya
It's just too bad that a pretty girl can't have a pretty picture of herself without some slob thinking the wrong thing.
Compounding the felony was the fact that when I made that wisecrack about his looking for a ladyfriend, he basically told me that I was correct.
Sigh. Well at least he's gone (thank you squnq and others). Now we can get back to business.
