Question One: Different members of my system "wake up" at different times, but in terms of physically being asleep or awake (as in when we're snoring or when we're not), whoever is fronting at that particular moment gets woken up when the body wakes up. That person is usually me. I've actually woken up a few times after already arriving at school or getting dressed or whatever, which is always a little disconcerting. This one time, I found myself at school all in black formalwear with my hair all slicked back, and I was like, "whoa, I think I know who dressed us this morning..."
Question Two: We all speak English. Although I've actually had a couple dreams that seemed to be in another language, but I can never figure out what any of the words mean.
Question Three: I don't know very much about other systems, but for me personally, the first one made itself known about six years ago and then the rest of them just came out in this sort of flood within the last year. I don't think it applies to us, though- I've got a pretty good sense that there always have been and always will be seven people in here.
Question Four: Physical ailments have only to do with the body- in the strictest of terms, none of us, as souls rather than physical beings, ever get sick. If you're speaking in terms of the emotional and mental effect on a mind of being sick, well, it really just depends on how prone the given person is to becoming crabby due to a little ache and pain discomfort in the body. ;)
