Just a quick little question.

I'm curious. It seems, from what I've read going through some old posts, that a large percentage of the systems/groups/whatever in this community are in a physical body that's pretty young.

How old are you? And how old are you internally too? We're pretty much all my age, which is 28, except that our Guardian seems to have gotten stuck around 13, which is when it was formed, so that makes a kind of sense, though at the same time it's ancient and ageless, being an archetype of wisdom. (Think something like a "child oracle" I suppose, but looking more or less like the dragon in my icon there.)

We don't... usually give the body age out very often because it's one of those things that people will judge you on without realizing they're judging you based on it. But the idea of what age says about maturity is so relative. I mean, the extended period between puberty and adulthood in Western society nowadays is kinda anomalous, historically speaking; so when someone says they consider someone of 18 to be a child, my reaction tends to be confusion. Because... 'mature,' where I'm from, myself, means you're married and have children, etc, same kinds of things it tends to mean here; except that tends to start around age 15, where I'm from. And someone can be young and handle some situations better than a lot of people twice their age will. And it's also completely possible for someone to be hundreds of years old and entirely lack certain kinds of common sense.

We've encountered that...we are, apparently, a very old eighteen.

Echoed.

We had adults and elderly people fronting while the body was under ten. We've had plenty of experience with outside people judging us by the age of the body we wore.
