Yeah, we have animals hopping and crawling about in our headspace. Their existence works the same way it does in the Earth world (our headspace is like an alternate Earth, more or less). We have the giraffes and bears and other critters who live in the wilderness, and we don't interact with them too much. Then we have the usual array of household pets, food animals, pesky insects, etc.

As for insourced bonds, everyone on our team is a creation of our original person. Are we real? Most of us say yes. Our original is not sure which position to take on that question. But most of us function better than many non-created people out there, so we figure, why not consider ourselves real?
