(no subject)

Things are edgy on the inside. Solace has locked our system down to keep anyone else from wandering off. The kiddos are all having mixed reactions to being locked inside all day. The apartment feels way too empty. Copain is the only other person able to come up front with me, everyone else is tied down looking after the kiddos.

I want this to stop. I want my family back.

Unyielding indifference, don't let me down now...

*SIGH*

Um, as someone said some time ago, "Do you know where you are?"

We think so.

1) If you a) are "we" and b) have some idea where you are, why that particular suggestion?

2) Just exactly how would you propose to "combine them all and be as one"?

1. To help you synchronize your personality, and
2.Psychotherapy

Hm. You probably don't know where you are, then. How about following some links from the community info page?

Synchronizing one's personality implies that there is one person whose sense of self is confused. That is not the case in multiplicity. The only kind of "sychronizing" most systems on this community strive for is commonly called "working together".

Psychotherapy isn't some kind of magic wand. How would it work? What would happen? Would you also suggest psychotherapy to make gay people into non-gay people, or autistic people into non-autistic people?

You got it.

Got what? Got it right about your having to get yourself informed? Got it right about "psychotherapy" being an insufficient answer?

If you think there are several people in you, then there is something very wrong with you.

I don't think there are several people in me.

I'm glad. I was getting a different idea from the rest of the virtual wolf commentors

Reading things these people said made you decide to come over here and advise integration to a random community member? How... inefficient.

Generally, people don't take kindly to an outsider with no apparent credentials telling them how to run their life.

Interested and respectful non-multiples are welcome here. The keyword is 'respectful'. Coming into this community out of nowhere and informing us that we all have something wrong with us and are in need of psychotherapy, without taking time to read the community info or ask questions about our perspective, is not only disrespectful but arrogant.

If you wish to stay and learn more, you're welcome to it, but continued comments like "there is something wrong with you" smack of trolling and will be grounds for a banning.

Understood. I am not trolling, I found the virtual wolf journal while reading other journals and found it interesting.

Well then by all means, ask us questions..but don't be rude.

I think that you are assuming that having "multiple personalities" means that different parts of a single person broke off into different personalities - so by using Intergration and Psychotherapy then all problems will be fixed and *voila* another cured person ready to jump back into society.

My brothers and sisters would be rather offended if i suggested they all "become one persona" because they do not belong as one. We are all different people, not figments of *somebody's* imagination.

So you believe there is more than "one" person in you?

And if I sounded rude I apologize.
