Multiplicity Symbol

We've been discussing ideas for a multiplicity symbol, and I came up with the following:

Please keep in mind this is a very rough draft that I did in MS Paint in about 5 minutes XD

Anyway, what do you guys think?

That's so cute!

Yeah I'm not sure about if it would work for widespread use, but it's still adorable.

As someone in a system with three front men (heh), I rather like that symbol.

We like it, too. The little girls said they want pink, though, hehe.

But still, very creative. We have PSP and Photoshop and don't know how to use the vector functions or anything.

Oooh...pretty...:)

Rainbows

Mostly because rainbows are caused by separating light rays. Depending on the shade of pink, it can be a combination of two colors which are not adjacent, or the combination of a lot of red, and a little of all the other colors.

Brown is an imperfect mix of the colors.

The basic theme is definitely interesting--but, as you noted, some might (or rather, to be honest, would) be reluctant to be associated with smiley faces.

Our guess based on 14 years of correspondence is there's an equal # of male-body systems who stay in the closet or tell just family members. The preponderance of female bodies has to do with more cultural permission for females to be plural on account of overwhelming number of females in media presentations. It probably has little to do with actual demographics. The two male-body systems that got the heaviest publicity both had members who engaged in some kind of criminal activity. The majority of publicised insanity defenses using plurality are male offenders. This should give some indication as to why men might not want to come out.

I'm thinking "Mr. Yuk" :)

Hey, nice. It's a bit like a trinity knot.

I like it better than some of the ones I have seen - we should start a brainstorm pool and get everyone to start submitting ideas ^.^

They look so... happy. :)
Haha, I like it!

Our body is male, but the split is (as far as we know right now) 50-50 male/female. Although the "main" one (me) is kinda femme.

I find it mildly disturbing.

None of the smiles have a pair of their own eyes.

We're genetically male but currently in the process of male-to-female gender transition. Take that as you will.

That is almost painfully cute....
