(no subject)

This may sound silly, but is it possible to transfer alters from one body to another? My friend (who isn't a multiple) wants to be with his significant other (who is an alter), but his significant other doesn't get to come out very often.

Thank you!

Welp...

Some from my system can move to the system of another I'm very close to, but we are connected and both multiples. I have no idea if someone who isn't a multiple is equiped to deal with more than one person there...

I wouldn't be suprized if it was possable but I can't say if i've hurd of anything like that....

I do know Kitsu has invaded (and i do mean invaded) other peoples dreams though... so it might be possable

So basically, one member of your system wants to leave and join another system?

This is just from personal experence, so take it for what it is...

But when members of my system go to the other system, I feel a whole, like when you lose a tooth. There's also a "rubber band" effect. The longer they stay over there, the tigher the rubber band gets, until they feel like they're going to be snapped back.

Now I'm not saying that would happen with everyone, just that's my personal experience.

Hope that helps.

*crosses eyes* got it... I think *grins*

So, his SO wants to leave the system s/he is in and move to another system where s/he will get more playing time? That right?

If all parties are favorable, and understand the consequences, it might be doable.

If it were me, I'd move to the new system a few times and take some test drives so-to-speak before doing anything major. You never know, there might not even be a way to get there. We move back and forth through a door we made in our inner worlds. However, if these guys did that, it could let everyone move back and forth, not just the one who wants to move, make sense?

Anyhoo, almost anything is possible. I'd proceed with caution.

One of the people in our system regularly goes over to visit another multiple system, where his SO lives. And equally regularly the SO will come and join our system. Just for visiting rights, about a day or so at a time. It does seem like there's a sort of "pull" that prevents them staying longer. It's a bit like out-of-body travel, or something like that.

I have had a few inners from my group visiting another Multiple.. and vice versa from other groups..

Nyrs folk (the wifelet) and Iriock folk (this body) go back and forth freely. Portals were opened between the realms and we have strict guidelines about "if you mess with their system, you come back here and don't get to go back" rules in place. It works out well.

Actually, Kyla (of Nyrs) is queen of the Iriock land currently. (odd and long story) She lives in the castle with Nori and Erich (Vampyre) by her side and only goes back to Nyrs for visits and for relaxation. Nori and Erich and Kyla have kids who were born in Iriock, but go to school in Nyrs. Yvette (who is human and from New Orleans, origionally-walk in) used to live in Iriock and now is in Nyrs with Alyse (her wife).

So, yes. It can be done. It isn't easy, but it can be successful.

Since travel between systems is a form of subjective experience, everything I say should be taken with the caveat of 'this is my experience,' but from what we've seen, yes, it can happen. We've nevet had people from other systems actually fronting in our body, but have done a lot of visiting others' systems or worlds.

The one thing you have to be careful of with this is that it can be used to exploit you-- c.f. trying to lay blame on people in your group for something that happened in someone else's system, 'they came over here and did soemthing,' that sort of thing. If you're told that someone in your system did a particular thing while visiting someone else's, you should double-check to see if they remember doing it, or whether it at least sounds believable.

Certainly it's possible. We do it all the time, visit in another group's world. It's about like what [livejournal.com profile] antigoneschase describes.

We've had people from other systems visit and like it so much they stayed for months, or years, or moved in entirely. Which is how our Colin and Davey got here, not to mention Princess Katra of Malim Dasheh.

A couple of us have managed to front in another person's body for very brief periods, but that's more unusual.

I'd go with [livejournal.com profile] princesstoots' advice if your people want to do this, especially if you've never done it before. Luck!

It's not something that our system can do. It might be nice sometimes. We also don't have any walk-ins either. But I guess other systems can.

It might be possible, but none of us have any clue how to go about it (nor any desire to anyway) so I can't give any advice.

We have never been able to do this or have anyone come to visit us. Well except for Abra who sort of walked in years ago. It's a shame really as there is awoman in another system I have feelings for and I am sure has feelings for me. But the body's husband sees anyone in the sytem as his wife and deems it cheating, even though this woman has no personal relationship with him. So it would be nice if she could just come into my world for a while.

Although others here are a bit iffy about it, too many concerns over the sort of missionairy thing that happened in the Earthen World. I think we worry a lot about people trying to change our land in a belief of bringing technology and enlightenment.

This is not an unreasonable concern, from our personal experience.

We have visiting abilities, but we've never had an alter from another system front for us. We've sent our alters into our girlfriend's body to be with their specific significant others, though, and that works well.

I know that people from this body can go over to the other body we live with. We're both mutiples though, and they don't come out in that body more like tranfer over there. also some have decided to live together in another world they can both get to.
