don't apologize for going away.. it's okay.. I just wasn't expecting it to get as out of hand as it did.. I realize that it all wasn't directed completely at my post and that some of the tensions came from elsewhere, just sucked that it happened where it did..

I wouldn't mind having more staff members, if that's what you're proposing..

Very little of the discussion we saw had anything to do with anything you said. The offenders posted to your thread possibly because non-members can't start new posts, only comment to existing ones.

There will be an assistant maintainer; our only question is, does anyone object to Shiu of [livejournal.com profile] sethrenn being that assistant, due to our relationship and similarity of views? If so, would people feel like suggesting someone else? Perhaps we should ask this question in a separate post.
