.. we had, I think.. there are clans/ families / bloodlines that apparently just 'ingrained' to hate/abuse/attack each other or everyone else, one way or another~
and depends on how you look at it-- we somewhat manage to lessen the friction by having someone that is capable of being a mediator/pillar.. (or safety shield, if you prefer.. *cringe*) he/she's somehow outside the bloodlines/ yet to have anyone else similar, and strong/influental enough to both gain respect/ obedience from some and forcibly make the rest listen.. (and some few other ways, but.. well, basically that's it ^^;)
yes, our system is very dependant to that person, being the thin line that separates war and truce--
but still, there are bloodlines and creatures (not necessarily humanoid) that wouldn't even consider cooperating/coexist ignorantly without that person's existence (in some cases, they're not even able to 'consider', so he/she just.. destroy them, being one of the strongest)
