I can say "She said this, and she did that" or "He said this and he did that," but if I'm talking about Guardian, I have to say "It said this and it did that," and I don't like to refer to Guardian as an "it" because the word "it" is objectifying. Tables are "it," books are "it." A personality should not be an "it."
