We roleplay, in the context of gaming. We used to do D&D (Ikeru and I) and lately we've been doing WoW roleplay (almost everyone). That doesn't seem to be the kind of roleplay you're talking about, though. If you think roleplaying the other members of your head-pack might help, then I'd say go for it.
As to being 100% separate... It tends to fluctuate for us, but we feel more separate than not. There are times--especially at work--when we can't be sure who's fronting (but being in retail, it's all a facade anyway), and we switch and blend sometimes at home, but around friends who know us, we're pretty separate.
I'm going to assume you've read up on the idea of being median. Do you think that label might be useful for you, if only for now?
