Greetings, all

I've been lurking here for a few days, now -- reading all the FAQ's and such that I could find.

I believe myself to be multiple, although I suppose I could be median or something of the sort. I'm almost always fronting -- Alex fronted one time and there were less than desirable results so we haven't tried that again yet. There's three inhabitants that are vocal, and quite a few (I never bothered getting a count -- it would take too long) that are less than vocal living out in the various towns that populate my head.

Anyways, I had a question for you lot. We're trying to get a better co-concious going so we can hear each other better. Right now everyone's a little fuzzy and we've had feelings hurt due to miscommunication. Advice would be appreciated.

Katters out.

The best bit of advice we received was to leave notebooks lying around with pens. Write a little something in each, encouraging everyone to open communication and go from there.

We didn't really *need* to do this though, but it helped with arguments/miscommunications, etc.

Good luck and welcome.

Wow, how I *love* LJ's habit of "parameter missing" bollocks eating your comments. GG LJ!

To try and say again, only our newest member has problems, and that's mostly because he's a fucking dolt, and without thoughtsharing we're kind of scrabbling in the dark. We use LJ a lot, reading each other's entries. Occasional comments back and forth. You could use IM if it wasn't 'too fast', emails for slower. Letters, post it notes. A notebook for communication, use it like a message board everybody checks once a day. You could leave Word documents saved as "For XYZ" on the computer desktop.

As someone said above, music can be good for pulling people out of fuzziness/blendiness. We use it a lot. Various things that people enjoy. Like we discovered that I will come out almost no matter what at the prospect of sticking our head right under the shower (unlike Lu who would rather live with a washbasin if that was a requirement of showers). Or that I'll front almost instantly for my plants, where Lu will front almost instantly for anything 'shiny'.

We all write in our journals. sometimes it's like an exercise in fronting or trying to figure out who we are, or if we can front solo or with someone else. some of us front in pairs and can't seem to not do that, and it gets hard to know which name to sign off as. XD
