Not a dumb question. Lots of people don't understand the difference.

Vetegarian = Don't eat meat. There's basicaly two types under this category, those who still eat fish and chicken, and those who do not (only eat eggs, milk, ect).

Vegan = Vegan basicaly means that you use no animal products what-so-ever. Some people who consider themselves Vegan won't even eat honey or use beeswax.... nor wool or Lanolin.
