It reminds me of something that I go through often as well: sometimes it feels like I'm the only one here with a strong enough survival instinct to say "Hey, we shouldn't do this!" or "We need to do that!" As such, I always find myself having to hover just below the surface to make sure nothing dangerous is being done. As such, I've gotten the reputation as being the spoilsport, as well as the whiner/complainer, because it seems like I'm only fully out when the body is having some kind of problem that needs to be addressed (illness, injury, bills to pay, etc).
