I thought you might find this interesting.

I dont know if this post is locked to non-community members, but it deals with multiplicity and sex. Many of the posts made me angry, but Ive only responded twice. I thought maybe some members with more experience with this subject might be able to give a different point of view.

Same old thing...

And it's very common among people who are transgender to feel they are two people, because you find out very early on through societal pressure that you almost have to make up a "girl personality" to match the body (if you have a girl body) -- hell, I did it myself for a long time. But this is not the same thing as two different people. It's more like "thinking like a girl", and it can get pretty damn tiresome -- not like having actual girls in your system who front, they don't get tired of being themselves.

Hmm...well, it's wholy possible. I know that with me if there are males out during my period I end it...and I know that there's been times it's come twice. And if your mind believed it, then it could create a female ejaculation with testosterone in it, because females do create testostrone within themselves too. That'd explain the smell. And f the mind believed it, then it could do it.

I curse most psychology books. People have to get over the *must lose time*, *must not know of eachother*, *must be horrifying and traumatic* thing. Yes, some do lose time, not know eachother (at first), and have had a traumatic life, but it's not all people. Gah...

[identity profile] elfgoyle.livejournal.com 2005-08-03 10:49 pm (UTC)(link)
agreed...lol burn the psych books. To bad I couldn't comment to any of that.

It takes more than "the mind believing in it..."

[identity profile] melange-fiesta.livejournal.com 2005-08-03 11:11 pm (UTC)(link)
I made a couple of comments. I don't like seeing people's ignorance go unchecked.

[identity profile] sethrenn.livejournal.com 2005-08-03 11:19 pm (UTC)(link)
Um, where are you getting the biology on this? Women do have a small amount of natural testosterone, it's true, but semen does not contain testosterone (that's in the bloodstream). As for 'female ejaculation,' the jury still seems to be out on what exactly it is and what causes it, but it has nothing to do with testosterone either and doesn't contain any.

So far as "if the mind believed it, it can do it," is concerned, try jumping off a building and having your mind believe you can fly, and see if you can get up and walk away at the bottom.

I doubt they'll listen owing to circular reasoning, but thank you.

[identity profile] melange-fiesta.livejournal.com 2005-08-03 11:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Their circular reasoning, or mine?

[identity profile] shandra.livejournal.com 2005-08-03 11:43 pm (UTC)(link)
I think the OP should post here! :) We don't have a lot of boys in our system so not a lot of direct experience to share.

It's a shame there were so many negative comments, but I was impressed at how it was handled by those on the multiple 'side.'

[identity profile] fadingtogrey.livejournal.com 2005-08-03 11:43 pm (UTC)(link)
I especially love how they bring out the "You're just doing it for attention" card to mean "I don't understand; therefore you are stupid".

[identity profile] elenbarathi.livejournal.com 2005-08-03 11:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Big waste of time to even try to talk to such a pack of idiots, IMHO.

[identity profile] ksol1460.livejournal.com 2005-08-04 01:25 am (UTC)(link)
Theirs. *points to [livejournal.com profile] fadingtogrey's example below, as well*

[identity profile] ksol1460.livejournal.com 2005-08-04 01:26 am (UTC)(link)
Yes. In general, these sorts of people tend to respond with some variant on "I don't understand it and/ or have never experienced it, therefore it doesn't exist and you are stupid."

[identity profile] sethrenn.livejournal.com 2005-08-04 03:13 am (UTC)(link)
Which is straight-out-of-the-package grade school reasoning-- anything not immediately understandable is retarded. 9_9

[identity profile] szczur-system.livejournal.com 2005-08-04 04:43 am (UTC)(link)
But why would you need to 'get up and walk away' if you were flying from the start? ;-)
[/end-snark]

[identity profile] szczur-system.livejournal.com 2005-08-04 04:45 am (UTC)(link)
Just... *headdesk*

[identity profile] fadingtogrey.livejournal.com 2005-08-04 12:09 pm (UTC)(link)
The obvious irony being, of course, that because of their lack of comprehension, you are stupid.

[identity profile] wingedwolf-2004.livejournal.com 2005-08-05 03:20 am (UTC)(link)
*waves shyly* Hi I'm the OP ^^ *is slightly shocked to see her post here* Do you think I caused offence to anyone by posting that? It is truthful, and I'm not bothered if people dont believe me because I know im not lying and ive had it plenty of times before.

Nice to meet everyone :D

[identity profile] ksol1460.livejournal.com 2005-08-06 01:14 am (UTC)(link)
Welcome. We're not offended. People say all sorts of things, and reveal personal details about themselves, by way of speculation, investigation and curiosity.

You can if someone can't feel pain. I broke my foot and no one realized it until I came back a week later in tears.
