*ponders* I'm not very good with introductions... so I guess thats my intro... duction... *cower* O_o
I'm kinda glad/curious/upset that I found this community but not six months ago when it might have helped me get through a troubled time... How am I supposed to explain something to a counselor that *I* don't even know the details of. -_-
*sigh* Like I said I'm not good with intros. So alil about me, or us... ok me first. I'm a college student, a computer scientist (aka code-monkey) aaaand I like to build things. I tend to identify myself as a 'double' (pair?) not really a mutliple I guess. My... no.. our? theres no posession.. erf scratch that. She is the other personality that occupies my body. Yes I meant to say my... as I was here first. I refer to myself as Jadaira and to her as Sarika... though inside she doesnt seem to have a name nor really care, its just for simplicity's sake. Sarika... is female, and so to me easily identifiable. Many of the things she does get 'translated'. She doesn't seem to be a human conciousness, I think, but rather an animal. I read about this in the laymans thingy... She 'talks' to me.. but not with words.. instead she sends [IDEA]+[EMOTION] 'packages'. Anyone else have such experiences? She can be a frontrunner when she wishes... but usualy it is co-operative. Othertimes it's as if she is sleeping.. or busy... Anyways, I guess thats alil, or alot about us. I apollogize in advance if this seems confusing.

My 'brother' Crist-Erui usually communicates with us in EMOTION+IMPULSE packages rather than in words. He's not an animal nor a child, and he's very intelligent, but he's... not really human either, not enough to 'pass'. We don't actually know what he is; just himself, I guess. He hasn't got any name - I refer to him as Crist-Erui online because I've got to call him something, and that's the name of a fictional character based on him, but he doesn't answer to it, and our brother Kír doesn't favor that nickname.

'Multiple' by definition means anything more than one, so you definately fit. Systems don't have to be big. They can just have two or three members or can number anything right up to into the thousands. elenbarathi who posted above is part of a trio, so you're by no means the only small-numbers system on the board.

That is our main form of communication in this system. :) We find it more effective than words sometimes, even though we are ALMOST ALL able to speak with words or images. We call it eso-speak. Haha... I didn't come up with that word so don't make fun of ME! XD The only inconvience about that is that if we want to explain to someone on the outside, we have to find a bunch of *blah* words or draw a picture. :S

Some of us don't identify ourselves as humans... just as souls... heh...

A lot of us communicate in images or image/idea or image/emotion packets; ^Gabe uses images with sounds.

Hi and welcome. :) Most of the members in our system are some sort of animal (most call ourselves therians) in one form or another, with some being more "feral"/completely animal than others - a lot of the feral members communicate in a similar way that you describe Sarika communicating.

Sure, a couple of our littles and our fae communicate through little strings of images+emotions. The fae is nonverbal except when co with someone and the littles in question are quite young, so I guess it makes sense.

When one of us is fronting, we get pictures with an emotional overlay. It makes for some interesting conversations when I'm out and someone says something dumb, then Eve snorts and shows me a picture of them with an ass' head and a neon sign pointing at them that says "DUMB F***". When we're "inside", we can talk and interact like normal.

Mindy's not exactly human herself. She's a shape-changer, a kitsune. Eve just suggested that perhaps our new girl is also not-quite-human, because she's so feral.
