FYI, not because anyone asked recently, but because it's come up a few times:

Friendslocking a post in this community means the entire community can see it-- not just people on your own journal's friendslist. People on your friendslist who are not members of the community won't be able to see it.

Friendslock your posts to the community if you do not wish them to be viewable by the general public. Livejournal is not secure. Remember that even if your posts are locked, they are viewable to the community membership (although not to the friends list of your personal livejournal) -- and anyone can see your words simply by joining the community. Use discretion.
